Lauren, Our local news has been full of an accomplished young lady with Down Syndrome. Even though you are not likely to have Katelyn Grace join a cheerleading squad, you might enjoy this story: http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2007/nov/17/cheerleaders-big-dreams/
I am just replying to a comment you left on a post I wrote on YLCF. :) Yes- the picture was indeed Hatcher's Pass... perhaps one of my most loved places back Home. :) You obviously must be familiar with the area, too!
I just wanted to say that I hope you are enjoying your time with Tait and that you and your family had a blessed Thanksgiving! Have you set a date yet? I don't know if I mentioned that my oldest daughter is expecting-we go this next week to find out what she's having. They have decided to include Grandma and Grandpa (and the two young aunties)in the sonogram, so we get to be there too! How is Katelyn doing? I'm still praying for her regularly-but was glad to read that she has had some good days too. Take care, Michelle
hey all! I hope ya'll are having fun time together! btw, I need an email address for Austin, I tried hotmail, but it won't go through. anyways, thanks!!
Use Yahoo! I don't want to give out his e-mail address over here. If that doesn't work, leave a comment with your e-mail address, and I won't publish it.
hey Lauren and all of the Fitzhenrys! This is your cousin Tommy and I just recently looked at this blog site again. I had a while ago, but then forgot about it for a while. It's good to catch up with you again and to see pictures of Katelyn. If Aunt Wendy reads this, I'm sorry I haven't called you back yet, I know it has been forever. I will try to before the semester is over, though. Love, Tommy
FitzClan Our family consists of parents Mark & Wendy, and five kids: Lauren (21, now married and living in Alaska with her husband and little son), Leslie (19), Austin (18), Shannon (13), and Katelyn Grace (2). Each of us is a work in progress, but our desire is to glorify the Lord in all that we do.
Essential Posts to Bring You "Up-to-Speed" With All of the Goings-on
On February 2nd, 2007, the Lord sent us a very special gift in the person of a Down syndrome baby girl. While the Down syndrome was unexpected, the Lord was gracious. We can see how He has been preparing our family over the last ten years to take care of this extra special little blessing with which He has entrusted us.
Our prayer is that the Lord would use Katelyn Grace (Pure Grace) mightily. She has already touched each of our lives in a special way, and we thank the Lord for our little gift of precious, Pure Grace.
Precious Little Katelyn Grace
