Yes, We're Still Alive!

Hello everyone!!! Lauren here.

We had a beautifully wonderful honeymoon in Prince Edward Island, Canada, and are now enjoying life together in Alaska! I'll have to say that married life is even better than I thought it would be (and I had some pretty high expectations), and that I am married to the best young man on the face of the earth. Our relationship has grown closer each day, and we're looking forward to 80 more years together! Tait keeps saying that he's extra tired and is having strange cravings. Any guesses why?

We're working on getting pictures up, as soon as we get all of the pictures back from the photographer. There are pictures up on the photographer's website, but you can only get to it through a password. I'll be e-mailing it out to all those who were in the wedding as soon as I can, though!

Tait is out right now, working on our house (we're staying downstairs from his parents' right now; it's a sort of duplex). I'm normally out working with him, but several guys are out there helping him, and I'm making dinner for all of those hungry people here tonight. Our house is coming along slowly but surely!

We've enjoyed reading all of ya'll's comments! We'll be starting our own blog shortly, and will be sure to post the information about that.

Blessings to all of ya'll!

Oh, thank you Lauren for posting an update! I was so excited to see that you'd posted! I'm so happy that you and Tait are so happy being happy newlyweds! :-) God sure has blessed you, so it seems!

God bless you both! I'm looking forward to the pictures. :-)

Shalom,

Hey Lauren,
I found your courtship story on YLCF, and have prayed for y'all around the wedding time. Our story is similar. I am from southern u.s. and met my husband in Northern Canada where we live now, and I am also 19! I hope you are enjoying the great white north and the best of luck to you and Tait!!!
your sister in Christ,
Chris

Hi Lauren!!
I had a dream about you last night (you were very happy!) and thought I would get on and see if you had posted an update. Glad to hear that you are smiling in real life just as much as in my dreams! Will pass on the news of the wee one to Mom who, as we both know, will be excited!

Much love,
Aurora

Greetings Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman!
I had thought I left a message last week, but evidently I did something wrong. I was very happy to know that you are doing well and enjoying married life. I'm also very happy for you and for your announcement. Congratulations!
I pray that the Lord will continue to bless your home and that you will share many happy years together!
I'm looking forward to seeing a picture or two of your wedding *if you plan to post them.
I still pray for Katelyn Grace and do miss your regular updates. I know that your family must be missing you and yet rejoicing that you are so happy in your new life with your husband. As a mom, it has been one of the most important things to me-that my children grow in the Lord and that they be happily married.
Take Care,
Michelle W.

It's been awhile since Lauren has updated and I was just wondering how they were doing and how she is feeling. I've also wondered about Katelyn Grace-I know she's getting big now. The time flies by so fast (especially as you get older :-) )
I was just checking in and wanted you to know that I do pray for you all as the Lord leads - I don't have the time to check the blog real often anymore - and I know you all are short on time for posting updates too.
Just wanted you to know that a cyber friend in Florida is thinking of you. :-)
Many blessings!
