We're not quite sure if Katelyn Grace likes carrot cake or not, but that's what I made for her party.

We're just starting to notice that Katelyn Grace is growing. And with all she eats, she ought to be! She just gets more adorable each day, and oh! what a blessing the Lord has given to our family!
Today was Mom's first day downstairs. The midwife had ordered her to be confined to her room for one week after the baby came. She did come down a few times during that week, but for the most part stayed in her room. Although at first Mom really didn't want to be "imprisoned" up there, she ended up being so glad that Nicole had her do that. She says it gave her some wonderful "bonding time" with the baby, besides helping her get her strength back.
I'll see if I can relieve her of something that she's planning on doing tomorrow so that she can sit down and work on a post for the blog.
