A Surprise Visit

Yesterday, the doorbell rang. And who should appear on our doorstep but our very first music teacher, Ms. Covington! She didn't know that the baby had arrived yet, and had only stopped by to deliver a message to Leslie. Of course when she found out that Katelyn Grace had indeed arrived, excitement kicked in and she was eager to see our new addition!


We discussed with her what instrument Katelyn Grace should play when she gets a little older. I think we're still settled on either classical guitar or harp. Down syndrome children can still learn to play instruments, so of course we're very excited about what kind of "musical journey" God has planned for Katelyn Grace!



For those of you who don't know Ms. Covington, I must tell you that she is a wonderfully patient teacher and the kindest of friends. For those of you who already know her, I don't need to tell you that; you know it already.
